This National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted regularly twice a year in June and December.
The test consists of the following three papers :::

Paper 2 & 3 : On Specific Subject

While paper 1 is common to all candidates, Paper 2 & 3 will be on specific subjects chosen. C-CAT conducts course on paper 1 covering 10 modules as given below:

For Paper 2 & 3, following three subjects are taken up for classroom program,
1. Commerce
2. Computer Science
3. Management
4. English
For other subject, paper 2 & 3 will be offered as and when the minimum batch size is met.

State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) is conducted by Bharatidasan University in Tamil Nadu in the same line as UGC NET in the same format and periodically as NET
