Service Selection Board recruits graduates ( or doing graduation) for its various postings in Defence Departments trough a series of tests conducted over a period of 5-6 days.

Various tests conducted in these five/six days are as follows: 1. Screening Test 2. Intelligence Test (Verbal & Non verbal) 3. Psychological Test 4. GTO (Group Testing Officer) Test 5. Interview by the President C-CAT conducts a training program for a month (three hours a day ) or 2 weeks (six hours a day) giving an exposure and skill enhancement on the above tests conducted by the board. These programs are conducted in group of 10 candidates to simulate the actual test conditions.
